Use the course finder on this page. Most biology students start with Bioinformatics Foundations or Essential Laboratory Skills; computing students often start with Scientific Computing with Python or Molecular & Cell Biology Essentials.
Live cohorts meet online with an instructor three times a week for four weeks at most (intensive and weekend-only schedules on request), with a weekly lab clinic and recordings. Self-paced courses use the same lessons and labs with six months of access and mentor review of your project, at a lower fee.
No. Bench skills need a bench, so wet-lab courses run in person at our laboratory. Their theory is supported by online pre-reading, and hybrid programmes combine bench and online analysis.
The courses are written for undergraduate and postgraduate students, graduates and professionals. If you have finished 12th and started a B.Sc., B.Tech., B.Pharm. or similar degree, begin with a life-science course (school-level biology is enough) or Bioinformatics Foundations (undergraduate molecular biology, no programming needed). Each course page lists its own eligibility.
Bioinformatics courses are taught live online, so you can join from Bengaluru (Bangalore) or anywhere in India. Solagene's office is in HSR Layout, Bengaluru, and wet-lab courses run in person at our laboratory.
